Refund Policy

SECTION 1: CUSTOM FABRICATION EXCLUSIONS

All custom-configured racking profiles, tailored upright frames, painted/galvanized beams, custom-cut steel decks, and modular mezzanine structures are fabricated to order.

Once fabrication begins or raw materials are allocated to your project, the order is completely non-refundable and non-returnable. If any designated cancellation or refund window specified in the contract is crossed, Shelving India is not responsible and will not issue any refunds.

SECTION 2: DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED COMPONENTS (INSTALLATION PHASE)

We stand by the quality of our industrial solutions. If any structural component is found to have a manufacturing defect or is damaged during transport, we will definitely replace it at no charge, provided the issue is identified and raised during the active installation phase.

Once the installation team completes the assembly and the client signs the final handover certificate or delivery note, the storage system is deemed accepted in perfect, safe condition. Shelving India will not accept claims for free replacements, damages, or component swap-outs post-handover.

SECTION 3: STANDARD PRODUCT RETURNS

For standard, catalog-stock products (e.g., standard plastic bins, basic metal lockers, or un-customized shelving accessories), return requests may be reviewed under these strict conditions:

• The request is made in writing within 7 days of delivery. Once this 7-day window is crossed, we are not responsible and no return requests will be accepted.
• Items must be completely unused, uninstalled, in their original packaging, and in perfect resaleable condition.
• All approved standard returns are subject to a restocking fee (up to 20% of the invoice value) to cover handling and logistics, and the customer must bear all return transportation charges.

SECTION 4: REFUND METHOD AND PAID MAINTENANCE EXCLUSIONS

Approved refunds will be processed via corporate bank transfer to the customer's registered company bank account within 14 business days of formal written confirmation.

Refunds and free structural replacements are strictly excluded for:

• Any services already rendered, including site layout drawings, load calculations, shipping, logistics, site supervision, and installation labor.
• Corrosion, structural buckling, deflection, or paint scratching caused by warehouse environment conditions, forklift hits, overloading beyond specified limits, or unauthorized modifications.
• Ongoing maintenance checks, corrosion prevention, or structural safety audits (which are available only as paid annual services).
